KUNR Public Radio x One Small Step: Virtual Listening Event
Project Co-Manager, Editor and Designer, 2021
One Small Step (OSS) is a nationwide effort to reconnect Americans, one conversation at a time. In collaboration with StoryCorps and other community organizations throughout Northern Nevada and Eastern California, KUNR invited residents to meet someone new — a fellow resident with different political views from their own — for a simple, personal, 50-minute conversation in English or Spanish.
KUNR, in collaboration with Noticiero Móvil, was selected as a participating station in 2021 and hosted a virtual listening event toward the end of the six-month program to preview some of its recorded conversations, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the process.

Envi: Envision Jewelry, Digitally
2D and 3D Designer, 2015
Third Place Start-up Concept, Kookmin University’s Inaugural Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp Demo Day
The fashion industry is continuously evolving, and it can be difficult and costly to keep up with trends. Envi challenges this notion by producing timeless jewelry that enables a user to instantly change its designs.
Envi aims to “envision jewelry, digitally” as it produces an all-in-one digital jewelry solution that accommodates the lifestyle of the on-the-go, tech-savvy, social individual. By enabling the user to select designs at the convenience of their fingertips through a mobile app, jewelry can move with them and their fast-paced lifestyle.

Babe the Iguana
3D Specialist (Scanning + Modeling), 2012-14
Published in Making It in the Academic World by American Libraries Magazine
For 18 years, Babe was an extraordinary companion to an inspiring, loving, selfless woman. Upon his passing at age 21, his owner approached the DeLaMare Science and Engineering Library in Reno, Nev., in hopes of developing a 3D model to commemorate him. Babe was temporarily frozen as a method of preservation and later scanned in Autodesk’s 123D Catch and NextEngine’s ScanStudio at the library.
The initial scans were inconsistent as a result of the laser’s heat and time, allowing the body to begin to thaw. Between multiple scans, pieces were salvaged and merged in Blender 3D to provide a base model that would later require retouching to preserve the integrity of Babe’s features. A single air-tight model was created and printed in both ABS plastic and plaster.
